		<description>Thank you for organizing the information meeting last week (February 17, 2009) -- and for your work in trying to bring some sanity and balance back to Canada&#039;s badly-distorted media. Years of concentration and buy-ups have just about wrecked whatever we might have had in the way of a free press.

Since 1996, Montreal&#039;s Electronic Rights Defence Committee has been suing the Montreal Gazette, Southam, Hollinger and now CanWest in an attempt to get compensation and recognition for freelancers&#039; electronic rights.

We have a Facebook group: &quot;Friends of the ERDC&quot; which anyone is welcome to join.
